Gather all the chemical industry’s actors, to allow them to value their know-how and to exchange to propose together innovative solutions, such are the objectives of the exhibition CHIMEXPO. At the heart of two symbolic regions of the french chemical industry, Rhône-Alpes et PACA, CHIMEXPO is the federative event of the professionals of this sector, with a large exhibitors’ panel representative and dynamic, with a robust network of involved partners. It’s in the exhibition’s Parc of Avignon that CHIMEXPO will welcome exhibitors and visitors in october 2016, the 12 and 13.

The chemical industry is a leading player the French economy and a real asset for the national productivity. France occupies the place of 2nd European producer, and 6th producing at the world level. The French chemical industry account 3 345 companies, among which 94% of TPE-PME, employs about 157 000 employees and adds up a 82,4 billion euro turnover for 2014. It has a significant weight in the foreign exchanges, and positions at the 1st rank of the exporting branches of industry since 2008. This important sector counts 3 billion euros of investment expenditure and 1,64 billion euros in R&D.
